Tripsbadge
Child safety standards
Tripsbadge is a travel app where people share trips and ride together. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page explains our standards and what we do about them.
Who can use Tripsbadge
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and you confirm this when you sign up.
- Accounts that appear to belong to a younger child are removed when we find or are told about them.
- Tripsbadge is not designed for children and does not target them.
What is not allowed
- Any sexual content involving a minor, in photos, videos, text, ideas, profile pictures, chat or any other part of the app.
- Grooming, sexualised comments about minors, or asking minors for sexual content or to meet.
- Sharing, asking for or linking to child sexual abuse material.
- Using the app (for example live rides, chat or location) to find, contact or put a child at risk.
Our Community guidelines and Terms say the same. Anyone who breaks these rules is permanently banned.
How we find and act on it
- Every photo and video posted for a verified trip can be reviewed by our team, and reported content is reviewed by a person.
- Content that breaks these rules is removed at once, and the account is suspended or banned.
- We keep a record of the report and the decision, and we do not allow the person back.
- Where the law requires it, we report CSAE and CSAM to the relevant national and regional authorities, such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), the Internet Watch Foundation, the New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs or Indian authorities, and we cooperate with their investigations.
How to report a concern
- In the app: open the post, idea, profile or ride and tap Report. Choose the reason that fits, or write a note. You can also block an account.
- By email: write to biku@tripsbadge.com. We read these messages and act on them quickly.
If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first.
