Record a video (and get the verified shield)
Hold + or the camera button to record. A checked video makes your badges permanent.
Steps
- Press and hold the + button (or the round button in the camera). Recording starts.
- Keep holding and let go to stop, or slide your finger up to the lock to record hands-free.
- Locked? Tap the square button to stop.
- Tap Next and Post. Videos can only be recorded in the Tripsbadge camera, not uploaded.
Tips
- A quick tap takes a photo; a hold records a video.
- Videos play on mute in the feed; tap the speaker for sound.
Questions
“Hold the button a little longer”
Videos must be at least 1 second. Hold until the red timer starts.
My video has no sound
Allow the microphone for Tripsbadge in your phone settings, then record again.
“One video per trip”
Each trip has one video. Remove it from the trip to record a new one.
The picture froze when recording started (iPhone)
Close and reopen the camera. If it happens again, tell us your iPhone model.
