Getting started

What is Tripsbadge?: A travel app where every trip is proved on the spot, and your passport fills with badges you really earned.
Create an account and log in: Sign up with email, Google, Apple or Facebook, and confirm your email.
The phone apps (Android and iPhone): Install the app for the camera, background ride sharing and offline riding.

Post a trip with the camera: Tap +, take photos where you are and post. The checks happen in the background.
Record a video (and get the verified shield): Hold + or the camera button to record. A checked video makes your badges permanent.
How places are checked (and why a post is blocked): GPS, the local time and your network must agree with the place. Here is what each check means.
The place name is wrong: You cannot change the place yourself, but you can report it. Our team checks and fixes it.

Silver and gold medals: Photos earn silver (temporary). A checked video turns it gold (permanent, for good).
Your passport, milestones and ranks: Countries, states, continents and milestones fill your passport and earn points for your traveller rank.
Permanent Residency (PR) and Citizenship: Keep coming back to a country and move up: Visitor → Resident → Citizen.
Share a badge to your story: Make a picture of your trip and badge for Instagram or WhatsApp stories.

Videos: trip videos to scroll: Full-screen trip videos, one at a time. Swipe up for the next.
Ideas: travel tips from people who were there: Swipe short tips, save the good ones and share your own.
Choose Ideas, Videos or both: See only what you like: Ideas, Videos, or both (the starting choice).

Start or join a ride: See your whole group on one live map. Make it public for anyone to join, or private for your group.
Private rides and PINs: Keep a ride for your group: share the link, and add a PIN for extra safety.
SOS, chat, voice and offline mode: Hold SOS to alert your group. Chat, one-tap messages, group voice and riding with no signal.

Tripsbadge Gold: A membership with longer badges, a streak shield, priority review, ride voice and more.
Get the verified (blue) tick: Prove who you are with an ID check. Your ID photos are deleted after review.
Privacy, blocking and deleting your account: Control who sees your trips, block or report people, and delete everything if you want.

Camera or microphone not working: Black screen, “Camera is off”, or videos without sound.
Slow, not loading or out of date: Pages not loading, the app feels slow, or a new feature is missing.
